In 2021, the Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro said: “the rain forest doesn’t burn because it’s humid”, referring to the Amazon Forest. This phrase was a trigger to this work, a series of “fire focuses” over aqueous chlorophyll solution, assembled as an Instagram feed; an allusion to the dissemination of fake news through social media and our current lack of focus.
